About the places you will visit

A short introduction to each stop. The full travel guide for each place lives on its own page.

Udaipur

Udaipur, often called the City of Lakes, is one of the most picturesque destinations in Rajasthan, set around Lake Pichola with the Aravalli hills forming a natural backdrop. Known for its palaces, havelis and lakeside architecture, Udaipur is a favourite choice among travellers browsing udaipur tour packages for a mix of heritage, romance and scenic beauty. The city's boat rides, lakeside promenades and hilltop viewpoints make it especially popular for honeymooners, and udaipur honeymoon packages typically build itineraries around candlelight dinners, sunset cruises and palace visits. Travellers researching places to visit in udaipur will find a compact old city where major attractions such as the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon Ki Bari are within easy reach of one another, making it convenient for both short and extended stays. The city also works well for families and leisure travellers, with a good mix of budget and luxury stays, including several luxury resorts in udaipur near lake for travellers seeking premium waterfront views. Many visitors plan around a 3-day customized Udaipur tour package to cover the essential sights at a relaxed pace, while those with more time often extend into a complete Mewar circuit package covering Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh and Mount Abu. Well connected by air, rail and road, and increasingly popular as a [weekend Udaipur trip package] from cities like Delhi and Jaipur, Udaipur remains a consistently in-demand choice for holidaymakers across budgets, with options ranging from an [affordable Udaipur holiday package] for budget-conscious travellers to a Udaipur luxury honeymoon package for couples seeking a more indulgent stay.

Mount Abu

There's something almost improbable about Mount Abu, a cool, misty hill station rising out of the Aravalli range in a state better known for deserts and sun-baked forts. That contrast alone is what pulls so many travellers toward mount abu tour packages, the promise of pine-scented air, a lake to row across, and temperatures that dip pleasantly low even when the plains below are sweltering. Anyone scrolling through places to visit in mount abu will notice how compact the town feels, Nakki Lake sits right at its centre, with viewpoints, temples and the Aravallis' highest peak all reachable on short drives, which makes it an easy town to fall into a slow rhythm with. Because Mount Abu doubles as Rajasthan's classic summer escape, the best time to visit mount abu is genuinely broader than most destinations in the state, comfortable from October right through to June, with only the peak monsoon months turning things a little too damp for sightseeing. It's also become something of a go-to for couples, and mount abu honeymoon packages routinely top searches from travellers planning a quieter, cooler alternative to the state's more famous lake-city romance; a well-timed Mount Abu honeymoon holiday package pairs sunset views with candlelit dinners in a way that feels distinctly different from anywhere else in Rajasthan, and a romantic Mount Abu couple tour built around Nakki Lake at dusk is hard to beat. Travellers based in Gujarat have long treated this hill as their nearest weather escape, and an Ahmedabad to Mount Abu package remains one of the most booked routes into town, while those wanting the flexibility of their own schedule often go with a book Gujarat to Mount Abu weekend trip instead. A relaxed mount abu itinerary 2 days is usually enough to settle in properly, take in the lake, the temples and a sunset point or two, without feeling like you're racing a checklist.

Jodhpur

Jodhpur, widely known as the Blue City, is one of Rajasthan's most striking destinations, set at the edge of the Thar Desert and dominated by the towering Mehrangarh Fort. Travellers browsing jodhpur tour packages are drawn to the city's distinctive indigo-washed old town, imposing fort architecture and its role as a gateway to the desert landscapes further west. Those researching places to visit in jodhpur will find a city where a handful of major sights, the fort, palace and old city markets, are all within a short drive of one another, making it easy to combine heritage sightseeing with a slower exploration of the blue-hued lanes below the fort. Knowing the best time to visit jodhpur matters for comfort, since the city sits on the edge of the desert and summer daytime heat can be intense, so most travellers plan their trip around the cooler months for pleasant walking and sightseeing. A well-planned jodhpur itinerary 2 days is generally enough to cover the essential sights at a relaxed pace, while many travellers extend their trip with a 2-day Jodhpur heritage tour package that pairs the city with nearby excursions. The city also offers a strong mix of stays, from boutique havelis tucked into the old city to some of the finest heritage hotels in jodhpur housed in former royal residences. For those keen to venture further into the desert, Jodhpur is frequently combined with its neighbouring cities as part of a wider jodhpur jaisalmer tour package, making it a natural base for a longer western Rajasthan circuit.
